| The Hot new DT (Dives To) Series crankbait was designed by master crankbait fisherman David Fritts, to dive faster and stay in the strike zone longer than any lure to date. Four models are offered: DT16 (16 ft. depth: 2-1/8", 3/8oz), DT10 (10 ft. depth: 2 ¼", 9/16oz.), DT6 (6 ft. range: 2 1/8", 3/8oz.), and DT4 (4 ft. depth: 2", 5/16oz. ).
Only Rapala DT Series crankbaits are made from the top seven percent of select balsa wood. The consistency and high quality balsa, strategically placed internal weights, tapered body, and thin tail work together to produce a superb product. The strong polycarbonate lip is ultra thin and allows the bait to dig down quickly to maximum depth. The thin design also creates a side-to-side action that enhances the unique sound of a rattling balsa lure.
Another big advantage of the DT Series baits are their castability. Casts up to 150 feet are a breeze allowing deep structure to be fished thoroughly and accurately while keeping the bait in the strike zone. The special 2X-strong vanadium wire hooks (designed with Fritts), feature a pyramid cone point which is forged rather than chemically sharpened or ground. The result is a very strong and sticky hook point that will outlast other premium hooks.
Combined with the excellent color options, and guaranteed fast diving capabilities, we expect this new technology crankbait to be a "Hot Tour Lure".
